The Profit Audit

Every day you wait is another day of lost profit. If you're running a business in todays climate, one thing is almost guaranteed: Costs are rising faster than profit.

Raw materials. Suppliers. Leases. Labour. Energy.

Contracts you signed years ago that no longer serve you.

Most business owners don't realise how much profit is being quietly eroded, not because they're bad operators, but because no one ever audits the engine while the car is moving.

Thats exactly what The Profit Audit does.

Find the Profit Hidden Inside Your Business.

What a Profit Audit Actually Is

A Profit Audit is a commercial deep dive into how money moves through your business. We examine:

  • Direct costs (suppliers, materials, contracts, pricing structures)

  • Indirect costs (overheads, leases, subscriptions, inefficiencies)

  • Commercial terms that silently bleed margin

  • Operational friction that kills productivity and competitiveness

The goal is simple: Increase profit without increasing workload

What Is the FREE Profit Audit Overview?

The FREE Profit Audit is a strategic overview call designed to identify quick, profitable wins. This is not the full audit. During this call, we will:

  • Identify where profit is currently being lost

  • Highlight immediate cost and margin opportunities

  • Spot commercial blind spots most owners never see

  • Determine whether a full Profit Audit would deliver meaningful ROI

  • You will leave with clarity, and in many cases, actions you can implement immediately

Why This Matters Now

Running a business is becoming more expensive month by month, year by year. Government policy shifts, interest rates, supplier increases, raw material volatility, wages.

Long-term contracts signed in a different economy.

Most businesses absorb these increases quietly, until margins are gone and decisions become reactive. Profit isn't lost in one big mistake. Its lost slowly, invisibly. Every month you delay is profit you'll never recover

What Profit Audit Results Actually Look Like

This is not about "cutting costs for the sake of it". Typical outcomes include:

  • More favourable pricing from suppliers

  • Improved commercial contract terms

  • Reduced overheads with operational pain

  • Increased internal efficiency and productivity

  • Stronger negotiating position

  • Greater competitiveness in your market

In many cases, the business already has the profit, its just trapped in the wrong places.

Founders Story

Hi I'm Danny Leigh, Founder and Lead Consultant.

For over 20 years, I've worked inside businesses at board level, auditing costs, renegotiating contracts, restructuring national operations and commercial agreements, and fixing the profit problems for owners, shareholders and stakeholders.

I've led and delivered Profit Audits across multiple industries, saving clients seven figures year after year through supplier renegotiation, overhead reduction, and commercial restructuring, without damaging operations or growth.

Alongside cost optimisation, I've supported businesses that have gone on to increase revenues in excess of £100M per year (c. $135M), by improving commercial decision-making, pricing structures, and strategic focus.

My work and experience spans everything from vehicle fleets, leases, and core overheads, through to complex commercial contracts, supplier negotiations and commodities tracking, the unsexy but critical areas where profit is either protected or lost.

The Profit Audit exists: to stop capable business owners working harder than they need to for the money they take home.

I look forward to working with you soon,

Danny
